A Leading Spanish Artist

Carmen Touza is considered to be one of the north-west of Spain's leading artists and her work has been highly praised internationally. She first came onto the art scene back in the sixties, while resident in Germany. It was there that she gained her early formation as a painter alongside artists that today are at the forefront of German art.

On her return to Spain she decided to set up studios in Tenerife, and another in her home town of Pontevedra.

Outstanding amongst the personal exhibitions she has had this year is, one in the American Museum in Miami, another in Aranda de Duero (Burgos) and others in Barcelona, Las Palmas and in the Palecete de los Albéniz in Pontevedra.

She has also exhibited in galleries in Italy, France, the USA and Germany, as well as in the Feria Puro de Arte of Vigo.
